Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22–$23/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (possible flexibility depending on lunch period)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Office Assistant to support both human resources and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting employees and streamlining office operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

  • Coordinate job postings, manage applications, and schedule interviews/pre-employment screenings
  • Prepare onboarding, benefits orientation, and injury reporting packets
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files
  • Organize internal training and employee engagement activities
  • Distribute employee communications and notifications
  • Pick up payroll from Eureka office and prepare for distribution
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and labor laws
  • Collaborate on HR projects to enhance team and employee support

Office Administration

  • Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries
  • Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as needed
  • Support meeting logistics (room booking, scheduling, catering)
  • Handle mail, deliveries, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and administrative reporting
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment (break area, coffee supplies, storage)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support
  • Familiarity with HR processes and labor laws (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
