Branch Manager

Shantel is the Branch Manager at Express and has a true passion for bringing people and opportunities together. With a strong blend of leadership, people skills, and administrative experience, she has a natural intuition for identifying the right fit for both associates and clients. She believes that the best matches happen when you truly take the time to understand people.

When she’s not at the office, Shantel is usually off on an adventure with her three dogs chasing sunsets, exploring new places, or seeing where the day takes her. She loves getting her hands dirty, whether that’s gardening, antler shed hunting, or heading out on a mushroom foraging mission. She also enjoys slowing down with gardening and experimenting with her ever-growing love of different mints and teas. Equal parts outdoorsy and grounded, Shantel brings curiosity, warmth, and a sense of fun into everything she does—both in leadership and in life.

Luis has been with Express in Eureka as a Senior Employment Specialist since May 2016, bringing years of experience placing candidates across a wide range of industries and roles. His bilingual fluency in English and Spanish allows him to connect with and support a diverse community, making him a valuable asset to both clients and associates. Luis aspires to become a business owner in the future, with a passion for building something of his own. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and his little Chihuahua. If he could travel anywhere, his dream destinations would be Bora Bora and Tahiti. His best advice for living a happy and fulfilling life is to stay stress-free, keep moving forward, be yourself, and cherish every moment with the people who matter most.

In addition to senior operational and administrative roles, Matthew has served as a crew lead and maintenance lead, overseeing small teams on property upkeep, minor construction, repairs, and site improvement projects, including task delegation, safety awareness, and coordination with owners and stakeholders. His background includes managing staff workflows, supporting day‑to‑day business operations, handling administrative and customer‑facing responsibilities, and maintaining organized, efficient work environments.
