Express Employment is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Quality Control Inspector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. and have experience working as a CNC Machinist. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of manufacturing processes and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement quality control measures, and uphold compliance with relevant standards.

 

Pay: $25-$35/hr

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect machined and molded parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure part conformance
  • Maintain detailed inspection records, documentation, and quality reports
  • Identify non-conforming parts and initiate corrective action processes (NCRs, rework, scrap)
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to resolve quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards in the inspection area
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper usage
  • Assist in developing inspection procedures and quality control plans for new and existing parts

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and mechanical inspection techniques
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CNC MILLS AND LATHES.
  • Experience working with machined and molded parts (plastics or metals)
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic CMM operation/programming (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards (a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance
