Pay: 24.00-28.00

Express Employment is seeking experience Press Brake Operators to help with one of our local fabrication clients.

Pay: $24-$28/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual press brake machines to bend sheet metal and plate per engineering drawings and work orders.
Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy of formed parts.
Select appropriate tooling and determine bend sequences to minimize material waste and rework.
Inspect parts to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance checks on press brake machinery and tooling.
Work closely with welders, machinists, and assembly technicians to ensure parts integrate seamlessly into finished equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

3+ years experience operating manual press brake equipment in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
Strong understanding of metal types (stainless steel) and their forming characteristics.
Experience working with stainless steel for sanitary food-grade applications is highly desirable, but not required.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and shop drawings.
Solid knowledge of bend allowances, tolerances, and forming practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for precision work.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
