Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is recruiting for an Operations Manager for a leading interior design firm in the Irvine, CA area. Our client specializes in sourcing high quality furniture, finishings and accessories for the residential marketplace. This is an on-site, direct hire career opportunity. Compensation starts at $65,000 to $80,000/year plus benefits.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a small team
- Communicate effectively with customers and company showrooms
- Maintain and update product listings on company website
- Manage vendor relationships and communications
- Monitor and control product inventory levels
- Draft and respond to internal and external correspondence
- Perform filing, data entry, and general administrative tasks
- Contribute to a collaborative and flexible team environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Formal education or practical experience in interior design preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl) is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor
- Adaptable and proactive; ready to pitch in wherever needed
- Self-motivated and career oriented
- Associates degree a benefit but not mandatory
