Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing consumer products company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time, long-term, contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent. Base compensation starts at $30.00 to $32.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processing and vendor payments
- Prepare weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
- Review and code invoices for accuracy and approval
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and accruals
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
Requirements
- At least one year of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Strong understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations
- Experience working within formal audit requirements
- ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
