Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals, Irvine is seeking Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for an aerospace and defense contractor in the Irvine, CA area. These are full-time, permanent, evaluation hire opportunities. Starting compensation is $20.00 to $25.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling cables and harnesses, test systems and racks
- Inspection of components
- Documentation
- General production tasks
Requirements:
- At least one year of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications a benefit but not mandatory
- Strong soldering, crimping and harness assembly skills required
- Ability to use insertion/extraction tools and torque wrenches
- High school diploma preferred
