Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing consumer products company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity. Compensation starts at $90,000 to $100,000/year plus and is bonus eligible.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Maintain inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Support financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams on accounting matters
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with process improvements and ERP enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles
- ERP experience required; manufacturing ERP preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
