Specialized Recruiting Group Irvine is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an industrial manufacturing and design company. Our client designs and produces specialty machined parts for electronics, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based in the Irvine, CA area. Compensation for entry level candidates starts at $60,000. Experienced candidates can start at up to $100,000/year.
Responsibilities
- Design custom components and assemblies for manufacturing applications
- Prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Support new product development and process improvement efforts
- Collaborate with production teams to solve technical challenges
- Participate in projects from concept through implementation
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- PCB manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to interpret technical files and drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
