Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group – Irvine is seeking an Accounting Assistant for an industrial instruments manufacturing company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time contract opportunity starting at $22.00 to $29.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with collections and follow up on past-due accounts
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Data entry and general administrative tasks
Requirements
- One year of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; accurate 10-key and data entry skills
- Ability to handle financial transactions with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, positive, and friendly demeanor
- Associates degree or offsetting experience
