Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group Irvine is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist for a growing aerospace manufacturer in the Irvine, CA area. Our client produces precision components and assemblies for highly regulated industries. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity. Base compensation starts at $75,000 to $90,000/year.
Responsibilities
- Maintain AS9100 quality systems and related documentation
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Review nonconformance, corrective action, and quality records
- Support supplier quality activities and audit preparation
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Analyze quality data and identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent quality engineering experience
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality management systems
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
