Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group - Irvine is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a precision electronics manufacturing company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a direct hire career opportunity. Base compensation starts at $120,000 to $150,000/year.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process and equipment issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement projects to improve manufacturing performance
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and workstation layouts
- Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation
- Support new product introductions, first article inspections, audits, and customer visits
Requirements
- At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
- Background supporting production lines and resolving manufacturing issues
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or QuickCAD
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and root cause analysis methodologies
- Manufacturing experience in aerospace, medical device, automotive, industrial, or similar environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
