Staff Accountant
We're hiring an accountant for a local company in Santa Cruz County! This position is in an office setting with a supportive team. They're looking for someone who is a self-motivated team player to permanently join their office.

Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelors degree in accounting/finance/business/or related field
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger
- Proficiency in Excel & ability to learn accounting software
- Strong numerical accuracy
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated with good follow-through
- Respectful & professional
Job Details:
- Routine journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger & balance sheets account
- Support monthly & year-end closing activities (preparing schedules, gathering documents, completing assignments by deadlines)
- Assist accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, deposits, etc.
- Assist with audits, tax, insurance, banking, etc.
