We’re Hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a Local Company!
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Maintenance Mechanic to join the team at a well-established local company. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with room to grow — perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning new skills.
This position offers on-the-job training and the chance to be cross-trained in multiple maintenance areas, including HVAC, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Job Duties:

Perform inspections and routine maintenance on machinery, facility systems, and equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as motors, pumps, conveyors, valves, and bearings

Rotate through different maintenance tasks and equipment types

Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and report equipment issues

Accurately document work completed, including parts used and services performed
-
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
-
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate repairs and reduce downtime
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

1–2 years of mechanical or maintenance experience preferred

Willingness to learn — training will be provided

Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand/power tools

Ability to follow instructions and maintain clear records

Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and working in industrial settings
