Shop Parts Clerk – Maintenance Department ??

Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 1-hour lunch
Pay: $23–$26/hr (DOE)
Employment Type: Temp with possibility of hire on

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join our clients Maintenance Department. You will play a key role in managing and distributing truck parts, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting our mechanics to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Parts Distribution & Inventory

Fulfill parts requests from mechanics and other departments
Track and document parts issued to maintain accurate inventory
Assist with parts deliveries and road calls as needed ??

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain 90-day inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) records
Maintain water sample documentation
Assist with work orders for maintenance departments
Monitor maintenance schedules and flag overdue inspections or services
Scan and upload documentation into internal systems

Compliance & Safety

Follow all safety standards and company policies when handling parts
Work safely around hazardous materials and shop equipment

Other Duties

Perform additional tasks to support maintenance operations as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (inventory or related certification a plus)
Experience in truck parts management or related field
Knowledge of truck parts, specifications, and industry standards
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear PPE as required
