About the Role

We are partnering with a growing electrical contracting company looking for an experienced Service Dispatch / Project Coordinator who can take ownership of daily service operations. This is not an entry-level admin role. You will be responsible for coordinating technicians, managing schedules, and ensuring service calls and small projects are executed efficiently from start to finish.

You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and keeping multiple jobs moving at once without constant direction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and schedule electricians for daily service calls and small projects
  • Manage real-time scheduling changes and resolve conflicts quickly
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, technicians, and office
  • Track job progress and ensure work is completed on time and properly documented
  • Prepare job folders, invoices, and closeout documentation
  • Order and coordinate materials for active jobs
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date job and scheduling records
  • Communicate daily job status updates to clients and internal team
  • Support workflow between service, admin, and project coordination

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years in dispatching, service coordination, or construction operations
  • Experience in electrical or construction industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities without losing detail
  • Strong communication skills (you will be on the phone and email daily)
  • Highly organized and reliable — this role requires follow-through
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems in real time
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and general computer systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service Titan and/or QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with service workflows, job costing, and project documentation
