Driver Check-In / Check-Out Clerk
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and organized Driver Check-In / Check-Out Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for truck drivers arriving at the facility and is responsible for ensuring efficient driver processing, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Check drivers in and out according to company procedures.
- Verify and maintain accurate driver and shipment documentation.
- Notify warehouse personnel of driver arrivals.
- Assign dock doors and communicate loading/unloading instructions.
- Assist with shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Scan, file, copy, and organize documents.
- Match shipping paperwork and prepare packets as needed.
- Provide support to customer service and warehouse teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception/work area.
- Deliver professional and courteous service to drivers, customers, and employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous administrative, receptionist, logistics, transportation, or warehouse office experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
