Position Type: Temporary (1 to 3 Weeks)
Schedule: 5 days per week (occasional 6-day schedule available)
Pay: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver for a temporary assignment with a local company. The selected candidate will operate a 26-foot box truck to transport materials, products, or equipment to designated locations. A Class A CDL is not required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck
- Load, transport, and unload materials as needed
- Complete deliveries and pickups in a timely manner
- Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
- Assist with general labor duties when not driving, if needed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving larger commercial vehicles or box trucks preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
Schedule
- Standard schedule is 5 days per week
- Opportunities for a 6th workday may be available based on business needs
