About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative to join our clients team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and supporting sales efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, answering product inquiries, generating quotes, processing orders, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and driven to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and project requirements.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed of inventory availability and promotions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Assist with showroom organization, merchandising, and presentation.
• Support daily sales and operational activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Experience in retail sales, inside sales, home improvement, building materials, construction, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Inside sales or showroom sales experience.
• Experience preparing quotes and processing customer orders.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with contractors, vendors, or residential customers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform computer-based tasks for extended periods.
