Plastic Injection Molding Technician

Monday - Friday 1st Shift

Newbury Park, CA

Pay: $25/hour or DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Molding Technician to operate and maintain injection molding machines and related equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring product quality, optimizing machine performance, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines according to standard procedures and production schedules.
Install molds, perform machine startups and shutdowns, and monitor cycle times and part quality.
Perform troubleshooting of machines and molds to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Clean molds and machines as part of routine maintenance procedures.
Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding preferred.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
