CNC Mill/Lathe Machine Operator
Position: CNC Operator/Machinist
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
Schedule:
Third Shift (1 Opening):
Monday–Thursday: 10:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Friday: 7:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Alternative Workweek Schedule)
Location: Moorpark, Ca 93021
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our team on third shift. This role is responsible for operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes to produce precision parts (turning, milling, boring, tapping, threading, and slotting)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Perform basic shop math to calculate speeds, feeds, offsets, and reference points
- Monitor production to meet KPI standards, including 85% efficiency
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of shop math, geometry, and trigonometry (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Reliable and able to meet production goals
