Job Title: Full-Stack TypeScript Developer
Location: Ventura County, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt (ITAR Qualified)
Pay: $100,000 – $120,000/year (DOE)
Overview:
A growing organization is seeking a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to support the development of custom internal applications that streamline operations across multiple departments. This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative team, focused on building intuitive, high-performance browser-based tools. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in clean code and enjoys creating user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
• Develop and maintain Node.js/Express APIs to support internal applications
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to manage and manipulate application data
• Collaborate directly with internal users to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
Required Technical Skills:
Front-End / TypeScript
• Strong experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (SASS/SCSS preferred)
• Experience building dynamic UI components using modern layout systems (Flexbox/Grid)
• Experience with React (Redux preferred); SolidJS experience is a plus
• Experience with socket.io for real-time client-server communication
Back-End / Node.js
• Experience building APIs using Node.js and Express
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming (async/await, promises)
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs
Database
• Experience writing queries in Microsoft SQL Server (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, JOINs)
• Strong understanding of relational database design
Experience Requirements:
• 3–5 years of professional experience developing full-stack web applications
• Experience working on production systems used by real users
Soft Skills:
• Ability to work directly with users to gather and refine requirements
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated and effective in a small team environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
• Experience with SolidJS
• UI/UX design awareness
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required (higher education in a related field is a plus)
