Job Full Description
Are you mechanically inclined with experience assembling electronic or electro-mechanical products? We're seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a well-established Longmont manufacturer. This intermediate to senior-level role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of products while contributing to a collaborative, quality-focused production team.
What You'll Do
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies for a variety of products.
- Perform assembly, modification, and rework using:
- Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Visual Manufacturing Systems (VMS)
- Engineering drawings
- Wiring lists
- Hand tools
- Written and verbal work instructions
- Work from production schedules to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Identify and report discrepancies in Bills of Material (BOMs) and Visual Manufacturing Systems (VMS).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Share knowledge and assist teammates as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
- Build positive working relationships with coworkers and internal partners.
What We're Looking For
- Previous electro-mechanical or electronic assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Experience working with hand tools and precision assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
