Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist
Location: Longmont, CO
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE + Incentive Opportunities
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a customer-focused Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to lead and manage an onsite VMI program within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, ensuring exceptional service, inventory accuracy, and successful program execution.
Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the onsite VMI expert.

Manage inventory levels, monitor inventory trends, and ensure product availability.

Enter and expedite customer orders, quotes, and product requests.

Partner with internal teams to coordinate inventory, purchasing, and operational needs.

Proactively identify customer needs and provide solutions to ensure a high level of service.

Assist with warehouse support activities and other onsite duties as needed.

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of customer-facing experience required.

Industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or inventory management experience preferred.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required.
