2nd Shift Material Handler (Certified sit down forklift operator)
Location: Ocala, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM (No weekends!)
Will train for 2 weeks on first shift then go to 2nd shift. (M-F 6:45AM-3:15PM)
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
A manufacturing facility in Ocala is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler for 2nd shift. This role supports production by managing inventory, stocking workstations, and handling incoming and outgoing materials. Forklift certification is a required. This is a 5,000lb propane fueled forklift.
Requirements:
- Must be sit down Forklift certified - we will recertify you
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, 80% of the job will be on your feet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and stock inventory for production runs
- Load/unload trucks and handle containers
- Maintain accurate records of material usage
- Ensure workstations are stocked before, during, and after shifts
- Dispose of scrap and packaging materials properly
- Operate blending and molding equipment
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards
