Job Description: Seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Installer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing all types of plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage piping. You must be capable of reading blueprints, interpreting plumbing codes, and ensuring all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and up to local state, and national plumbing codes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, repair, maintain plumbing systems including copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and other types of piping.
· Install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, valves, pumps, and backflow prevention devices.
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout and sequence of plumbing installations.
· Adhere to all relevant codes and safety regulations (IPC, IPC, local codes).
· Perform testing and inspections to ensure systems are leak-free and up to code.
· Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades on job sites.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
· Troubleshoot issues with installations and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Qualifications:
· HSD or equivalent.
· Minimum of 1 year of plumbing installation experience.
· Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by state/local law).
· Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and installation standards.
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (crawl spaces, attics, outdoors, etc).
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience of commercial and residential installations.
· OSHA certification.
· Backflow certification a plus
