Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced and dependable cook to join our food truck crew. You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You’ll also interact with customers occasionally, so a friendly attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook items such as burgers, wings, catfish, fries, and other menu items
- Maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas, grill, and fryer
- Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and presentation
- Stock and prep food items for the day
- Work in a team setting with speed and accuracy
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the truck each day
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a kitchen or food truck preferred
- Must be able to work in hot, fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of fryers, grills, and food safety standards
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
- A flexible schedule and availability on weekends is a plus
