Job Title: Print Production Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Print Production Assistant to join our production team. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of the print production process — from preparing files and operating printers to finishing, laminating, and assembling signage. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in achieving high-quality results, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain wide-format printers, laminators, and plotters

Prepare print files for production, ensuring color accuracy and proper layout

Trim, mount, and finish printed materials on various substrates (vinyl, acrylic, aluminum, etc.)

Assist with vinyl application, weeding, masking, and sign assembly

Maintain an organized and clean production area

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before installation or delivery

Support other team members and departments as needed to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in sign production, print shop, or similar environment preferred

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) a plus

Basic knowledge of large-format printers, plotters, and laminators

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
