Embroidery Specialist – Sign Company
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday
Pay: Based on experience
Position Overview:
The Embroidery Specialist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining embroidery machines, ensuring each order meets our quality standards. This role will also assist with other production tasks within the sign shop, including vinyl application, heat press, and general shop support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain multi-head embroidery machines

Hoop garments and prepare materials for embroidery production

Load designs, adjust thread colors, and ensure proper tension and stitch quality

Inspect finished items for quality and accuracy before packaging

Keep work area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies

Assist in other areas of production, such as printing, vinyl cutting, or assembly when needed

Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications:

Prior experience in embroidery or apparel decoration required

Familiarity with Tajima, Barudan, or similar embroidery machines a plus
-
Basic computer and design file skills (Wilcom, Pulse, or similar software experience preferred)

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed
