Warehouse Associate / Order Puller

Pay: $17–$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week; overtime as needed)
Location: Warehouse / Operations Environment
Job Type: Non-Exempt

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate / Order Puller to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in order fulfillment by accurately pulling, preparing, and staging products for shipment. Your work directly supports customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately review customer orders and pull correct items and quantities

  • Navigate the warehouse efficiently to locate products

  • Assist with packing, staging, and preparing orders for shipment

  • Update inventory records and report shortages or discrepancies

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks

  • Follow all safety guidelines and quality control procedures

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Support other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the shift

  • Team-oriented with good communication skills

Preferred:

  • Previous warehouse or order-pulling experience

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems

  • Experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs)

  • Standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods

  • Occasional pushing and pulling

  • Ability to work in confined warehouse spaces

  • Overtime availability as needed

  • Ability to drive a company vehicle when required (subject to MVR check)
