A New Company in Montgomery, IL is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team!!
2nd Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:30am
Pay Rate: Starting at $21.00 per hour
EVALUATION TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY
MUST TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT BEFORE MOVING TO 2ND SHIFT
Summary Of Responsibilities
Assists with all aspects of property maintenance including the physical grounds, custodial, preventive upkeep, corrective repairs, and emergency situations. Provides general support for the Quality, Safety and Training teams.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for visitors and staff
- Completes, coordinates, or supervises repairs and preventive maintenance tasks
- Responsible for interaction and coordination of facility contractors
- Ensures all work is completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner
- Conducts daily building / property inspections and takes action to address issues
- Responsible for control of building keys
- Responsible for building pest control program
- Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies
- Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports as needed
- Provides guidance and training as needed
- Completes required training classes
- All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of three years of related work experience. Technical degree preferred.
- Proficient in decision making and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances and HVAC in both theory and practical application
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates work safety regulations
- Ability to work on-call and extended hours if needed
