MUST HAVE PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY AND MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE
Pay Rate: 1st Shift $19.50
1st Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of press brake operation experience.
- Experience working with sheet metal.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Basic math skills, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and training documents.
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
You will have the opportunity to be cross trained in multiple departments consisting of Machine Operating and Assembly. Target of this position is the operation of a Machine to trim, punch, shape, notch, or crimp metal composite. Produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawings.
Main tasks:
- Set up and operate machines, including tooling, programs, and machine settings.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce parts accurately.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and engineering standards.
- Calculate bend locations, blank sizes, tooling requirements, and machine tonnage.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, make adjustments, and report malfunctions.
- Maintain an organized work area and collaborate with production and quality teams to maximize efficiency.
