MIG Welder – $18-20/HR – Danville, IL
Express is hiring MIG Welders for a company in Danville that specializes in refurbishing railroad castings. This is a great opportunity to join an established team and put your welding skills to work!
What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Perform grinding and welding of couplers to AAR gauge recommendations
-
Inspect completed couplers to ensure they meet proper specifications
-
Operate heavy grinders and handle materials up to 50 lbs
-
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow housekeeping standards
-
Assist with additional duties as assigned by management
What You Bring to the Team:
-
Previous MIG welding experience (Air Arc experience is a plus, not required)
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely operate heavy grinders
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
-
Willingness to follow directions and work as part of a team
-
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
-
Ability to pass required breathing and well tests
