NOW HIRING: MIG WELDER – $16.75/HR
Location: Danville, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (Saturdays as scheduled)
A manufacturing facility in Danville is seeking a MIG Welder to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone with welding experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and precision.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform MIG welding to join metal parts per customer and production specifications

Clean, grind, and prepare materials prior to welding
-
Set and adjust amperage, voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow for optimal weld quality

Inspect welds for cracks, defects, and porosity to ensure integrity
-
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

Maintain welding equipment and identify/troubleshoot issues
-
Follow all safety policies and procedures
What You Bring to the Table:

MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand blueprints
-
Knowledge of metal properties and welding processes

Strong attention to detail and quality
-
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Understanding of workplace safety standards
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
-
Lift and move materials and parts up to 50 lbs or more
-
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
-
Strong hand-eye coordination for precise welding
