Job Full Description
Warehouse Worker 1st Shift:
This is a great opportunity with a leading HVAC wholesaler in Rockford. Our client is looking for a well-rounded Warehouse Worker to add to there team for a temp-to-hire position. If you are detail oriented and enjoy fast paced environments this position could be for you! Pay will start at $17 per hour. Job Duties:
- Accurately receive, record, and store incoming shipments
- Process customer returns
- Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and compare to computer system values
- Process documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, parcel manifests
- Pick, pack and process orders for shipping
- Resolve freight discrepancies with trucking companies
- Drive company delivery tuck to transport parts to local customers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clean driving record
- At least 6 months experience in warehouse operations in a wholesale environment
- Forklift experience
- Experience with computer or barcode driven inventory management systems
- Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Able to crouch, kneel, and squat regularly
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Position dependent on drug screen and background check
