Job Full Description
Our client in Rockford is looking for General Labor help to process scrap metal at our retail yard. This is a hands-on job with a company that’s been around for over 100 years. If you’re reliable and want to grow with a stable team please apply. This is a 1st shift opportunity. Pay $17-$19 BOE, M-F 7am-3:30pm.
Job Duties:

Sort and move metals

Use a computer to process metal purchases

Learn to use other equipment like skid loaders

Lift up to 50 lbs

Keep the yard clean and organized
Requirements:

Forklift experience

Basic computer skills (to enter weights and transactions)

Willing to learn new equipment

High school diploma or GED
-
Experience in recycling or manufacturing is a plus
