Material Handler
Our manufacturing client in Loves Park is looking for a Material Handler to join their team. If you have forklift experience are looking for a 4 day work schedule this is a great opportunity for you. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks for local or regional deliveries and internal transfers.
- Pick, pack, stage, and transport raw materials or finished goods.
- Assist with cycle-counts, physical inventory, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety protocols, and proper signage are maintained.
- Coordinate with warehouse team and management to meet daily production objectives.
Job Qualifications:
- Demonstrated forklift operation experience.
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required; shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Strong ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math, measurement, and inventory-tracking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, dependability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
