1st Shift Forklift Driver
Our client in the Rockford area, a leading beverage distributor, is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong warehouse skills and a commitment to safety, looking to join a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload beverage products.
- Safely transport pallets and materials to designated areas in the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with order picking, staging, and other general warehouse duties as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous forklift driving experience required; certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking.
