Press Operator
Our manufacturing client in Rockford is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining printing presses or similar production machinery, ensuring quality output and meeting production deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours ae Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM but needs to be flexible to work 2PM-10PM if needed and pay is $20-$28 depending on experience. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor press machines to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Set up presses according to job specifications, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 Years of Printing Press Experience.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and quality specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and work on 2nd shift as needed.
