Brazing Operator
Our client in Rockford is seeking a detail-oriented Brazing Operator to join their production team. The Brazing Operator will be responsible for assembling, brazing, and inspecting hydraulic tube assemblies and components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skillset and grow with the company. This role works Mon-Fri 7AM--3:30PM and pays $17-$18 per hour. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform brazing operations on hydraulic tube assemblies and related components.
- Operate torch and brazing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
- Inspect brazed joints for strength, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work area.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in brazing, soldering, or related metal-joining processes preferred.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
