Job Full Description
Our well-known client in Rockford is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership. This role supports employee relations, benefits, compliance, and recruiting efforts. Pay is negotiable but aiming for $80-100K BOE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage benefits programs and open enrollment
- Administer workers’ compensation and employee leaves (FMLA, STD)
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and exit processes
- Maintain employee records and respond to HR inquiries
- Handle employee relations issues and investigations
- Support safety programs and HR initiatives
- Lead performance evaluations and job/pay structure processes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of HR experience
- PHR/SPHR preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws required
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
