Express Employment Professionals in Lawrence, Kansas are seeking a Laboratory Technician for a great company in Lawrence. This is a temporary 6 to 8 week position with possible opportunity to be a contract to hire opportunity. Must be able to work a rotating schedule to support a team working 24/7. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting all raw material, in-process, and finished product analyses as well as any special testing as required. Must be able to read and understand all laboratory standard operation procedures. You will be supporting the Chemists in assessing/evaluating new equipment and/or new methods. Responsible for ensuring environmental and quality regulatory compliance. Supporting the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
