Position Overview:
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Temporary Dorm Room Cleaners. This position is essential in ensuring that our dormitory facilities are clean, sanitized, and welcoming for incoming students. The role is ideal for individuals looking for short-term employment and those who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dormitory rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and windowsills.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are free of dirt and debris.
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Change bed linens and ensure beds are neatly made.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and use cleaning supplies responsibly.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service when interacting with students and staff.
- Complete other cleaning-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
