🧰 Water Restoration Technician

💵 Pay: $16/hr
📌 Status: Full-Time
🔧 Position Overview:
This role involves working safely in residential and commercial properties affected by 🔥 fire, 💧 water, 🌪️ storms, or 🦠 mold. The technician will assess damage, perform demolition, and support restoration efforts using specialized tools and equipment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

🦺 Safely operate in environments impacted by fire, water, storm, or mold damage

🕵️ Conduct thorough damage assessments of properties and contents
-
📸 Document and evaluate damage to structural elements and personal items
-
🛠️ Perform demolition using hand and power tools
-
📋 Complete initial site inspections and moisture assessments
-
⚙️ Set up restoration equipment according to established guidelines
-
💻 Record tasks and progress in our primary operating system (RMS)
-
📷 Capture job site photos at the beginning, during, and upon completion of each project
-
🎓 Participate in IICRC certification courses (available through company offerings)
💡 Required Competencies:

📱 Proficiency with technology (iPhone, iPad, computer)

😊 Strong customer service and communication skills (phone and in-person)

🧠 Ability to learn and use systems including RMS, Xactimate, MICA, and others as needed

📝 Document creation and data entry skills

🎯 Preferred Qualifications:

🎓 High School Diploma or GED
-
👥 Prior customer service experience
-
🔨 Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled trade, craft, or manual labor role (or equivalent education)
💪 Physical Requirements:

🚶 Frequent movement across job sites, including stairs, roofs, crawl spaces, and walkways

🪜 Occasional use of ladders

🗣️ Ability to communicate clearly with customers

🏋️ Regular lifting of up to 60 lbs
