🚨 NOW HIRING: Airport Floor Technician 🧼🧹
Join our team and help keep the airport clean, safe, and welcoming for all travelers and staff! We're looking for a dedicated Floor Technician with a strong work ethic and experience in professional floor care.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and dusting 🧽

Operate commercial floor care equipment such as:
-
Strip, wax, and polish floors according to schedule and as needed ✨

Clean and maintain carpets, including spot cleaning and deep extraction 🧼

Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with product guidelines and safety protocols ⚠️

Maintain a clean and organized work cart, storage area, and equipment
-
Respond quickly to spills or floor hazards to ensure a safe environment 🚧

Follow all airport safety and security procedures, including:

Collaborate with other custodial and maintenance staff to maintain a clean, professional airport environment 👥

Promptly report maintenance issues or floor/equipment damage
🧠 Skills & Knowledge:
-
Proficient in using commercial floor care equipment
-
Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for tile, concrete, carpet, terrazzo, and more
-
Understanding of cleaning procedures and chemical safety
💪 Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
-
Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead
-
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
-
Manual dexterity to operate floor machines and tools effectively
