Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Pallet Builder / Forklift Operator to join our team in Lexington, KY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent daytime hours and the potential for pay increase based on performance. The ideal candidate has experience operating a sitting forklift, building pallets, and is comfortable using hand and power tools as well as basic computer systems.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Occasional overtime as needed

Pay

• $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (DOE)
• Position will start at $18.00/hour for evaluation
• Pay increases available based on performance

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sitting forklift safely and efficiently
• Build pallets according to specifications and work orders
• Use hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
• Operate power hand and stationary tools (jig saw, table saw, etc.)
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Load, move, and stage materials as needed
• Perform basic data entry and paperwork processing
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks
• Read and comprehend production data and instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Qualifications

• Sitting forklift operator experience (required)
• Pallet building experience (required)
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience using hand tools
• Comfortable using a computer and entering data
• Able to read and comprehend work-related documents
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
