Job Description

We are seeking dependable General Labor associates for a 1st Shift Powder Line position at a manufacturing facility in Frankfort, KY. This is an entry-level opportunity within a fast-paced industrial environment and is a great fit for individuals comfortable with physically demanding work.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished metal product onto a moving conveyor at an automated finishing line
• Consistently lift and move metal racks throughout the entire shift
• Band and wrap palletized product
• Operate presses, brakes, benders, and manual welders as assigned
• Monitor equipment during operation and complete production jobs in a timely manner
• Rotate between work stations and assist where needed throughout production
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Work Environment

• This is a VERY physically demanding position
• Consistent lifting throughout the shift is required
• Metal racks and product may weigh approximately 30–50 lbs
• Associates will be lifting, moving, and handling metal racks for the majority of the shift
• Position requires standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movement for extended periods
• Indoor manufacturing environment with very hot conditions due to powder coat ovens
• Associates must wear jeans or work pants while working

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Strong attendance and dependability required
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in a production environment
• Previous manufacturing or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation required
• Steel toe boots required

Attendance Expectations

• Attendance is extremely important for this position
• No missed days during the first 90 days of employment will be accepted unless pre-approved by management

Drug Screen & Background Requirements

• Candidates must be drug free and able to pass required screening

• Other misdemeanor or drug-related charges may be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis through HR approval

Pay Progression

• Starting pay is $19.50/hour
• Increases to $20.50/hour at 90 days
• Increases to $21.75/hour after 1 year from full-time hire

• Selected candidates will then be scheduled for an interview directly with the client prior to placement
