Apartment Maintenance Technician

Prime Apartments is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with apartment maintenance, handyman, or general repair experience who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in keeping properties in excellent condition.
What You'll Do
- Complete routine maintenance requests in occupied apartments.
- Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready units).
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, doors, windows, and locks.
- Maintain the appearance of apartment buildings, common areas, and the property grounds.
- Perform preventative maintenance and assist with property upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and provide excellent customer service to residents.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance, handyman, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Own basic tools are preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
