Finishing Department Associate
Location: Lexington, KY
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Sunday overtime may be available based on production needs)
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking two dependable Finishing Department Associates for a Lexington-area apparel production facility. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a strong eye for detail, and take pride in producing quality results. Associates will be responsible for preparing apparel products for shipment through folding, sorting, tagging, and packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Fold, sort, and prepare apparel products for shipment
- Apply tags and labels accurately to finished products
- Box and package apparel according to company standards
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Assist with other finishing department duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
