Dolly Repair Technician – 2nd Shift
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Dolly Repair Technician for a manufacturing facility in Georgetown, KY. This is a hands-on position responsible for repairing and maintaining plant dollies, completing preventative maintenance, and assisting with basic fabrication projects throughout the facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical experience who enjoys working with tools, troubleshooting, repairing equipment & working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Repair & maintain plant dollies as needed
- Complete scheduled monthly preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Perform basic fabrication work as requested
- Use hand and power tools to complete repairs
- Maintain a clean & organized work area following 5S standards
- Follow all safety procedures & work instructions
- Participate in team meetings & training
- Assist in other areas of the facility as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Previous maintenance, repair, fabrication or related hands-on experience preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to read & follow basic work instructions
- Basic math skills, including fractions & decimals
- Dependable with strong attention to safety
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Willing to learn additional skills through on-the-job training
